Affiliate Marketing

Amazon very quickly and a long time ago now realised the power of affiliate marketing.

What is affiliate marketing?

If we keep Amazon as the example what they do is allow you to first apply for an affiliate or associate account. Once approved you can login to their system and create links to products on Amazon. You put these links on your website and if someone clicks throug your link and purchases something from Amazon you receive a commission.

Obviously Amazon have their own affiliate scheme but if you search on Google you will find many websites such as Buy.at that have teamed up with several different companies so that you can control all of your affiliate schemes in one place.
